I got back from Mass this morning and wanted to let you know that you were on my mind as Cole did the first reading at Mass this morning, a reading from St. Paul to the Hebrews. It was perfect – clear and not one instance when he stumbled over a word. As some of the parents in attendance were saying after Mass, “he rocked it!” To think that 6 short years ago, this young boy could barely speak and to watch him this morning….wow.
All I can say is that I will always be grateful that Cole met you and that you were able to draw out of him the words that I always knew in my heart were there.
God bless you today as you continue to improve the lives of all of the children that you are helping through your therapy!

I wanted to let the administrative staff know how pleased I am with the services we are currently receiving with your therapists. My son Ryan is a patient of Aley-OT, Rachel-SLP and Marina-PT. Ryan has made such progress since our transition to TRI’s therapists. The most notable progress is with his expressive language!! Prior to starting with TRI Ryan had received 8 months of therapy at a hospital based therapy center. When we started with TRI Ryan spoke no more than 20 words and rarely would say anything without prompting. Just three and a half months ago we joined TRI. Now, Ryan easily speaks 80-100 words without prompting. It is easy to recognize progress with language because I no longer spend my days trying to interpret Ryan’s extremely loud shrills however it is also extremely obvious to me that he wouldn’t be able to progress in communication without progression in areas such as sensory integration, proprioception, coordination, engagement and interaction. Aley, Marina and Rachel have been such amazing educators not only to Ryan but to me as well. Without their guidance, instruction and intellect I felt Ryan’s advancement was stagnant and I didn’t have any idea how to help him. There are no words that express the gratitude I feel but I’ll give it my best shot. As any parent knows, to see your child, your sunshine start to fade then someone comes along and brings the light back…this is something only the heart feels.

Hello Therapy Relief Team,
We are VERY happy with the services that we are receiving with Therapy Relief. Our daughter, Hannah, started out with Sue as our first SLP. Sue did a great job evaluating and treating Hannah! The smiles and positive energy that greets you when you enter the door are endless. The staff is extremely helpful. Laurie has always been great with guiding us through insurance questions and keeping us informed of our benefits. We now are receiving services at home with Aley, OT and Rachel, SLP. Everytime I tell Hannah that Aley or Rachel are coming over to play, she waits by the window or door for their arrival. Aley and Rachel do a great job keeping Hannah engaged in activities, as well as offering suggestions, for us as parents, to work on with her.
When I run into families that are looking for therapist’s that accept insurance I always pass on Therapy Relief. Therapy Relief will give you peace of mind in knowing that the staff and therapists have your child’s best interest at heart.
Sue has been instrumental in helping our son overcome his gag reflex and transition from mushy foods to “regular” foods and textures.
She is kind and compassionate and strives to achieve the best for her
patients. What is unique about Sue is that she is very forthright and has a defined plan, timelines and goals for her patients. She also understands the mindset of parents, educates them and comes up with creative ideas keeping her patients in mind.
We were extremely happy with the help and results we got and would recommend her to any parent in a heartbeat.
Hello, This is Jessica H, mother of Brennen H.
It’s been a while since you last saw him and he is just flourishing in Kindergarten at Ellisville this year!
I’ve been meaning to message you for a few weeks. I wanted to let you know that a few weeks ago Brennen was
selected and tested for phase 2 of Rockwood’s gifted program. We should get the results by the end of the month. I wanted to share this with you, because I cannot thank you enough for all the help you gave to Brennen. He is just an incredible kid.
Thank you again!
I wanted to let you know that we really appreciate everything you have done for our son Colin. We noticed a tremendous improvement with his speech and language when he started seeing you. The combination of speech services he was getting at school and your services made all the difference. I cannot speak highly enough for all of your efforts! Prior to your services, Colin had difficulty speaking to other peers, because they could not understand him. Now he is confident in his ability to speak to his peers without hesitation. This is huge!!! Thank you so much Sue! I will gladly refer you to anyone who is looking for speech therapy.
We were very lucky to get referred to Ms. Sue Conklin of Therapy Relief by our pediatrician when we needed speech therapy for our son. He had a lisp that we worried would affect his future adversely. Sue was very patient and friendly with him, and he was also very comfortable with her on the very first visit. Sue made the whole therapy a very fun filled exercise for him. He thoroughly enjoyed the Go-Fish game and it helped him practice his speech sounds. Sue has been an amazing helper and very kind to our family as a whole.
While speech therapy may not be perceived as being uninteresting, Sue ensured that my son enjoyed his time while improving his speech skills. We would also like to thank the friendly and always pleasant office staff of Therapy Relief that made our whole experience seamless.
We highly recommend Therapy Relief to anyone needing speech related services, especially for children.
